On September, 1st, 2011 in a hall of session of the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan in honor of 20 - years of independence of Republic Tajikistan with participation of judges, judges in resignation, and also employees of the Device of the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan the solemn meeting has taken place.

Making solemn speech at meeting, the Chairman of the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan Mahmudov Mahkam Azamovich, has underlined a special role and the importance of the state independence in formation of the newest statehood, and has congratulated present with 20- the anniversary of this historical significant event of our republic.

At meeting also the Chairman of the Constitutional court in honor of 20 - oh anniversaries of the state independence of Republic Tajikistan for fruitful activity performed by official duties and achievement of high labor indicators of judges and judges in the resignation, being members Scientifically - the advisory council at the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan, have been awarded "Certificate of honor" of the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan, and also to employees of the Device of the Constitutional court the next class ranks have been appropriated.

On July, 10-14th, 2011 in the city of Djakarta of Republic Indonesia in honor of 8 flying formations of the Constitutional court of Republic Indonesia the International symposium on a theme has taken place: «The Constitutional democratic state».

Representatives of the constitutional courts of 20 countries of the world participated in work of the International symposium. The constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan in this important action represented, judging the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan Gulzorova of M. М and the assistant to the judge of Constitutional court Goibov of the Item

In 4th of July on 2011 year in Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan took place a total session Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan on a first half year 2011 was also discussed a work plan for the second half year 2011. At the beginning of the session the chair man of Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan made a greeting speech. Mahkam Mahmudov signed out that on a first half year 2011 the Constitutional Court achieved essential results. Also was made a speech with report about activities of Constitutional Court on a first half year made a speech a vice-chairman of Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan Mustafo Nazarov also made a speech about activities of staff Constitutional Court for this period. The speech also made by leader staff of Constitutional Court Davron Hoshimov.

On the 24th of June 2011 in the Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan in honor of 20th year independence government Republic of Tajikistan. For the day of icvolity took place a round table on theme stability, independence, and Unity guarantee of stable development of the government.

The chairman of Constitutional Court Republic of Tajikistan made a greeting speech and remarked about high significance independent government and national unity.

On June, 8-11th, 2010 in Valmontone,  Italy the International conference on a theme has taken place: «Protection of the rights of citizens», devoted to Eurasian  seminar by the Roman right where representatives have taken part in its work from the countries of Latin America, the Russian Federation, Romania, Republics Kazakhstan, Albania and Italy.

Republic of Tajikistan at this conference represented Mahmudov M. A – the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic Tajikistan and Alizoda Z - the Representative under human rights(Ombudsman) to Republics Tajikistan.

During three-day work of the international conference it has been heard more than 25 reports and performances, including the report of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic Tajikistan Mahmudov M.  on a theme: «Principles of protection of the rights of citizens in historical tradition of Tajikistan». The exchange of opinions concerning improvement of mechanisms of protection of human rights and the citizen, and also on a wide range of questions of protection of human rights and the citizen in the various countries has taken place.

During conference the meeting of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Republic Tajikistan Mahmudov of M. and the Representative under human rights (Ombudsman) in Republic Tajikistan Alizoda Z. with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Italy Franchesko Amiranti in which course of the party have expressed readiness for cooperation of the constitutional courts of the states has taken place.

On March, 25th, 2010 the Chairman of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan Mahkam Mahmudov has accepted the Coordinator of programs in Central Asia the European Commission for democracy through the rights (the Venetian Commission of the Council of Europe) mister Sergey Kuznetsov.

During conversation the detailed exchange of opinions on a place and a role of bodies of the constitutional control in government system, about the further development of the given political and legal institute, activity of the Venetian Commission regarding cooperation with bodies of the constitutional control of the states of members and observers, the plan of activity of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan, in particular about the international conference in honor of the 15 anniversary of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan which will take place in November of this year, in Dushanbe.

The parties have estimated a meeting as fruitful and have supported the further deepening of cooperation between their bodies.

At a meeting there were judges of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan A. Abdullaev and  Karimov K.

On March, 12th, 2010 the Constitutional court of Republic Tajikistan in execution of the Order of the President of the Republic Tajikistan from January, 12th, 2008 №АП-467 and in honor of a holiday of Navruz has rendered the charitable help to 25 pupils with the weakened hearing of republican school of settlement Somoni of area Rudaki for a total sum 2000 somoni. The help consisted of foodstuff and clothes.

Besides, the Constitutional court has looked after a needy family of Djonmahmadova J. and Nazarovoj Z, living about Dushanbe, area Firdousi, street Dehoti of 21/3 sq. 50, having juvenile children and being invalids of the second group.

On February, 18th, 2010 the Resume of the Decision of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan under the petition of Party of Islamic revival of Tajikistan «About definition of conformity of a part of fourth article 57 of the Constitutional law of the Republic Tajikistan «About elections of Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly/Parliament) of the Republic Tajikistan» and decisions of the Central commission on elections and referenda of the Republic Tajikistan from May, 25th, 2009 № 122 parts of seventh article 49 of the Constitution of the Republic Tajikistan» have been placed on a site of the European Commission for democracy through the rights (the Venetian Commission of the Council of Europe) http://www.venice.coe.int/asia/ ASIA_guidelines.htm

On January, 12th, 2010 the Chairman of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan Mahkam Mahmudov has accepted the Plenipotentiary ambassador of France in Tajikistan mister Anri Zipper de Fabiani.

During conversation the detailed exchange of opinions on a place and a role of bodies of the constitutional control in system of the government and about the further development of this political and legal institute has taken place.

The mister Ambassador having familiarized with problems, competence and activity of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan has noticed that the Constitutional council of France exists more than two hundred years. Such body, which activity it is directed on protection of the Constitution and maintenance of its leadership, takes a special place in France and named it «democracy heart». Therefore his country gives particular attention to development of the constitutional control and in this supreme body visible experts and scientists work.

The parties have supported the further deepening of cooperation of bodies of the constitutional control of two countries.

At the meeting there was a Vice-president of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan Mustafo Nazarov.

On December, 8th, 2009 session of the Constitutional court of the Republic Tajikistan on the case of the petition of Party of Islamic revival of Tajikistan «About definition of conformity of a part of fourth article 57 of the Constitutional law of Republic Tajikistan« About elections of Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly/Parliament)of the Republic Tajikistan» and decisions of the Central commission on elections and referenda of the Republic Tajikistan from May, 25th, 2009 № 122 parts of seventh article 49 of the Constitution of Republic Tajikistan» has taken place.

In the constitutional legal proceedings participate the representative of President of the Republic Tajikistan in Majlisi Namoyandagon (the Assembly of Representatives), plenipotentiaries of Majlisi Milli(the National Assembly) have taken part in the Constitutional court, and also representatives of the Central commission on elections and referenda of Republic Tajikistan, the Supreme Court, the General Public prosecutor, the Ministry of Justice and mass-media.

The constitutional court, comprehensively having investigated a case in point, has accepted the decision, according to which part of fourth article 57 of the Constitutional law «About elections of Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly/Parliament) of the Republic Tajikistan» according to which «in case of leaving of a member of Majlisi Milli (the National Assembly) and deputy Majlisi Namoyandagon (the Assembly of Representatives) less than one year prior to the expiry of the term of powers of Majlisi Milli (the National Assembly) and Majlisi Namoyandagon (the Assembly of Representatives) elections of a new member of Majlisi Milli (the National Assembly) and Majlisi Namoyandagon (the Assembly of Representatives) deputy instead of the left aren't spent». As whole articles 57 of the Constitutional law of Republic Tajikistan «About elections of Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly) of the Republic Tajikistan» correspond to parts of first and seventh article 49 of the Constitution of Republic Tajikistan.

The constitutional court, also comprehensively having studied the decision of the Central commissions on elections and referenda of the Republic Tajikistan from May, 25th, 2009 № 122 because this point in question consideration doesn't enter in its competence, concerning the given decision has stopped the constitutional legal proceedings.
